More than 80% of diseases still have no treatment, clinical failure rates remain high, and it takes over a decade and billions of dollars for a single drug to reach patients—if it ever does. 

Those numbers represent real people. 

At the core of the problem is a lack of deep understanding of disease biology. Without that foundation, drug discovery is slower, riskier, and less predictable than it needs to be.
